New Mitsubishi CP-30DW and CP-30W Printers Deliver Hi-Resolution for Ultrasound and Endoscopy Color Documentation

Carlsbad, CA (PRWEB) July 24, 2007 -- Scientific Vision Systems (SVS), one of the leading distributors of medical and professional video equipment, announced availability of the two new Mitsubishi color printers, the CP-30DW, the digital version, and the CP-30W, the analog version. The new sheet fed printers feature the ultimate in simple, front-end loading of paper cassettes and ink cartridges, so simple, in fact, it's child's play to replenish consumables. The new unit is ideal for medical applications such as ultrasound and endoscopy.

Both printers include an ergonomically designed LED display on the front panel. The display provides key operating data that is easily read from any angle. The generously sized paper tray accommodates up to 80 sheets of S-format paper and 50 sheets of L-format paper. Both printers also include an unusual feature ideal for use in darkened rooms: an illuminated paper exit slot.

The dye sublimation technology meets the highest technical demands for quality imaging including clean lines and extremely sharp images. With 16.7 million colors and 423 dpi resolution (maximum of 1600 x 2100 dots), these printers provide ultrasound and endoscopy professionals with images that are always true to detail.

Both the CP-30DW and the CP-30W produce an image in standard operating mode in 16 seconds in S-format and 25 seconds in L-format and each printer includes 32 megabytes of onboard memory, sufficient for two frames. The printer is compatible with Windows 2000®, Windows XP®, and Mac OS 10.3.9 and higher. Computer interface is via USB 2.0 port for the CP-30DW. The interface options for the CP30W include RGB analog input/output, S video, composite video, and RS-232C port. The units can operate on either standard 120 volt or 220 volt power supply.

Each printer is compact unit that measures 8.34 inches wide by 5 inches high by 16.7 inches deep and weighs only 16 pounds, easy to maneuver and fit in virtually any endocsopy, ultrasound, or other medical environment.
